Exactly <strong>half<\/strong> are Sun, and <strong>half<\/strong> are Moon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u0627\u0644\u0652\u062d\u064f\u0631\u064f\u0648\u0641\u064f \u0627\u0644\u0634\u0651\u064e\u0645\u0652\u0633\u0650\u064a\u0651\u064e\u0629\u064f<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>These are called sun letters. They assimilate the definite article <em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0,0,0,0);color:#ff6900\" class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">al<\/mark><\/em>&nbsp;(<strong>\u0627\u0644<\/strong>), but loses its<strong> distinctive sound.<\/strong>&nbsp;As a result, the sound at the beginning of the word is doubled. (Given <strong>Shaddah<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example:    \u064f<strong><em>\u0627\u0644\u0634\u064e\u0651\u0645\u0652\u0633<\/em><\/strong> \u060c(Ash-shamsu)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Ash-Shams<\/em>, you don\u2019t pronounce the <em><strong>\u0644<\/strong><\/em> (Lam). They assimilate the definite article <em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0,0,0,0);color:#ff6900\" class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">al<\/mark><\/em>&nbsp;(<strong>\u0627\u0644<\/strong>), and retains its<strong> distinctive sound.<\/strong>&nbsp;As a result, the sukuun on the laam [ <em><mark style=\"color:#ff6900;background-color:rgba(0,0,0,0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">al<\/mark><\/em>&nbsp;(<strong>\u0627\u0644<\/strong>),] at the beginning of the word is pronounced. (and does not attracts <strong>Shaddah<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example: \u064f<strong>\u0627\u0644\u0652\u0642\u064e\u0645\u064e\u0631<\/strong> \u060c(Al-qomoru).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>A<\/em>l-qomor, you pronounce the <em><strong>\u0644<\/strong><\/em> (Lam).
